X-Arcade TANKSTICK exiting issues v 2.10

I am using the latest Beta Version which from what I read, is the same as the final and it does not exit. I have to hit the 4 arrow keys on the keyboard and then hit my exit key to exit. This bites because it looks like its been going on for quite some time. I love the front end, but look like a dork when I have company over and have to keep asking them to move their stool so I can open the keyboard drawer. On a side note, I am designed a killer intro video in After Effects and will post a link when its done. Anyway, my system is Brand New and I am so disappointed that it doesn't work properly.

Still doesn't work for me. After a period of time the exit function is lost and I have to reboot, just as before. Nothing's changed for me.

I cannot exit as well. I have tried all of the suggestions. It will exit sometimes but I always have to hold it down or press it a bunch of times. Sometimes it just blacks out just like before.

I have a Tankstick and run MA 2.10 with no problems.
I've noticed that if I use both USB cables to connect my TS to the PC I get problems.
HOWEVER when I use the USB for the trackball BUT the PS2 cable for the buttons and joysticks, everything works perfectly.

Could someone else try this, please?

Well I tried your suggestion and hooked it up that way, rather than dual USB and it still did the same thing. I sure hope maximus fixes this bug asap. I am currently looking for a new front end and it is killing me.

I tried this suggestion as well...didn't work for me either.

Perhaps it would be appropriate for Mameseer to document all of the settings that he suggests or has proven to be successful as a sticky topic instead of all of us taking a stab at numerous different attempts to get things working. I wish there was a "Restore to Default" option for those times when you've made so many changes, you can't remember what the original settings were.

I also have this problem of being unable to quit games via the "Quit Emulator" sequence. I also cannot re-program that sequence to anything else with the tanksticks. (I do reprogram it on another computer than move over the CFG)

Also, sometimes I lose the ability to cycle through the games in the main rom menu with the joysticks (not the trackball however)

I've had more luck with making the "Exit UI" in your MAME the same buttons as your "Exit Executable" in MA

Just to add to the list...another registered user with the X arcade tankstick who cannot exit...I had hoped after 6 months of waiting this would be fixed

Yeah, this is REALLY starting to suck. I just tested with a USB keyboard per the suggestion of another thread...same story. After 15 minutes of playing, I can't exit a game.
